Learn how to set up CounterTrader and make your first listing in minutes.
Step 1: Add the Bot
Start by adding CounterTrader to your Telegram. Click the button below or search for @countertrader_io_bot in Telegram.
Step 2: Start the Bot
Send /start to the bot to initialize your account. You'll see a welcome message with available commands.
Step 3: Connect Your Wallet (Optional)
For the full experience, connect your Bitcoin address that holds Counterparty assets:
- Send
/connect - Enter your Bitcoin address
- Sign the verification message with your wallet
- Send the signature back to the bot
Once connected, you can browse your inventory and use quick-sell features.
Step 4: Create Your First Listing
Create a sell listing with the /wts command:
/wts DJPEPE 1 25000 This lists 1 DJPEPE @ $25,000
Or create a buy listing with /wtb:
/wtb PEPECASH 10000 0.02 This creates a bid for 10,000 PEPECASH @ $0.02 each ($200 total)
For selling an entire lot at one total price, add lot:
/wts MRTALPHA 1952 9.2BTC lot This sells all 1952 MRTALPHA for 9.2 BTC total
