What is P2P Trading?
P2P (peer-to-peer) trading is direct trading between two users without an escrow middleman. The buyer sends payment directly to the seller, and the seller sends the asset directly to the buyer.
P2P Flow:
1. Buyer ────▶ Seller (payment)
2. Seller ────▶ Buyer (asset)
3. Both confirm ✓

Safety Tips
P2P Requires Trust
In P2P trades, the buyer pays first. Only trade P2P with users you trust. If you're unsure, use escrow instead.
- Check the user's profile - look at reputation, trade count, tier
- Start small - build trust with smaller trades first
- Verify addresses - double-check before sending
- Wait for confirmations - don't consider complete until verified
- Keep records - screenshot trade details and transaction IDs
When to Use P2P vs Escrow
| Use P2P When... | Use Escrow When... |
|---|---|
| Trading with a known, trusted user | Trading with someone new |
| You want to avoid fees | You want maximum security |
| Speed is important | High-value trade |
| Both parties are P2P whitelisted | Either party is new |
FAQ
What if the seller doesn't send after I pay?
This is the risk of P2P trading. Report the user to admins immediately. They may be suspended or banned. This is why P2P is restricted to whitelisted, trusted users.
Can I get refunded if something goes wrong?
Unlike escrow, P2P trades have no intermediary to issue refunds. Transactions are final. Only trade P2P with users you trust.
